In order to remain on
their vendor's list, Profile Consumer Electronics Inc was required to create and
send EDI invoices and PO acknowledgements.
They also had to
receive forecasts, modify them and send them back.
Working closely with Profile, Xebec developed a complete data entry system
to meet their needs. Feature-rich data entry
screens using look-up tables from Profile's part lists
and
pricing schedules, field validation, data prefill,
and other time-saving objects insured the
system was both easy to use and sent
correct, complete information.
Modify incoming data to a main-frame import format
California Department of
Transportation receives thousands of invoices from
the three California electric and gas utilities.
Rather than dedicate expensive main-frame
programmer resources to reformat the translated
EDI data for main-frame importation, Xebec quickly did the job using PC
